Message: So if I screw up a move I get to go back in time and take it back? Does time appear to move slower the faster I move my pieces? What about relativity? If I'm playing on a space ship that is approaching the speed of light, do I get less time on my chess clock?
;-)

Message: Time in this varitaitions is move
So move 1 is a pint in time and move two is the next point in time.
You can in a sense undo a move. If you move a piece back in time and change it that way. You can bring pieces from the future(is possible to have two queens that way). Think of time and anthor aspect of the game.
To any one intrested I will submit a complete rules list.
And matt I was not assumed by the space ship joke
Seious questions only please

——— Plenty of Fighting Spirit on Final Day of Pearl Spring — Magnus Carlsen of Norway had already clinched first place at the Pearl Spring chess tournament in Nanjing, China, but there was still a lot to play for, so all the games on the final day were hard-fought and two of them were decisive. The most important game of the day, in terms of the standings and the prize money, was between Viswanathan Anand of India, the world chess champion, and Etienne Bacrot of France. They were tied for second place. Anand had White and opened with his d pawn. Bacrot used the Nimo-Indian Defense and achieved a solid position out of the opening, though Anand had the bishop pair — a potentially long-term advantage. Bacrot began to play loosely, opening up his ...

Good luck with your temporal chess.
Matt ——— Chess: Magnus Carlsen snaps slump in China — Magnus Carlsen defeated three elite chess grandmasters to take the lead in the Pearl Spring double round robin in Nanjing, China. The Norwegian chess star scored 5-2 in the first seven rounds of the 10-game tournament. Carlsen had fallen to second in the world chess rankings because of poor performances in two recent events, but he has regained an estimated eight of the 24 rating points he lost. World chess champion Viswanathan Anand of India and French grandmaster Etienne Bacrot were Carlsen's closest rivals, with scores of 4-3. Bacrot upset Anand in the first cycle but lost the rematch. Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria, who has not completely recovered from losing the 2010 world championship match against ...

Dave ——— Nakamura Poised to Defend Title at Cap d’Agde — Hikaru Nakamura of the United States has worked his way into the world’s chess elite (he is ranked No. 15), but as good as he is at slow chess, his real forte is at faster time controls. He is generally considered to be among the top three or four in the world at blitz chess (where each player has five minutes or less for the entire game) and he also seems to be among the world’s best at rapid chess, in which each player has about 25 minutes per game. Two years ago, he won the Cap d’Agde Rapid chess tournament in France in a field that included Magnus Carlsen of Norway (now No. 1 in the world), Vassily Ivanchuk of Ukraine (who Nakamura beat in the finals) and Anatoly Karpov of Russia, the former ...

Message: I'm not sure how this differs from traditional chess? After all, you DO play in the time dimension also, and time plays a significant part when you have the clock running. In a very real way, chess with time limits is always "temporal". ——— Chess Champion's Class Act — Vishy Anand is the most versatile world chess champion. After all, he won world championships in classical matches, knockouts, rapids and blitz and dominated the advanced chess in which players are able to consult the computers. In this respect, no other world chess champion comes even close. But the Indian superstar is also a class act and gives credit where credit is due. Twice this year, Anand turned a favorite defense of his former coach, Artur Yusupov, into gold. "It was a pleasure to have Artur Yusupov working as my second, both personally and professionally," Anand writes in the preface to Yusupov's excellent book Boost your Chess 2, Beyond the Basics, published by Quality Chess. Yusupov was ...

Message: Temparal has notihing to do with time per move or per gmae
Say you queen is in danger and there is not safe place to move it. You can move it into the future say to move 40 when move 40 gets here you have your queen back. Or you can go back in time and capture the threateing piece before is capture you queen. Or you can bring anthor piece from the future and block the attcking piece.
Just as in regular chess you have ranks and files in temporal you have time. as well
Tommorow when I have more time I'll post an expample game and make I website with more of rules explaianation
Dave ——— Anand Wins, Carlsen Leads at Pearl Spring — Viswanathan Anand of India, the world chess champion, began the second half of the Pearl Spring tournament in Nanjing, China, with a win, but he is still a full point behind the leader, Magnus Carlsen of Norway. Carlsen has 4.5 points; followed by Etienne Bacrot of France, who has 4; Anand with 3.5; Vugar Gashimov of Azerbaijan, 2.5; Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria, 2; and Wang Yue of China, 1.5. Monday, Anand beat Wang, who put up little resistance. The opening was a Queen’s Indian Defense and the queens were traded rather quickly. Anand, who was Black, traded a knight for a bishop, securing the bishop pair; he also had a better pawn structure. Anand soon won a pawn and then ...

Message: Does this mean you can temporarily rmove any piece from the board...then bring it back later on? How useful would it be to take off your King to avoid checkmate eh?
Or am I mis-understanding ?

Message: I find this very interesting. So we can bring pieces from the future or past, and send pieces in the future or past?
I would appreciate more clarifications and a complete move list before showing further interest.
