black played nonsense moves, but I think the real embarrassment is the fact that white, with a 1473 rating seemed to forget that checkmate is the object of the game... not capturing all your opponent's pieces and then forcing a draw!

Agreed... ...I've run into the occasional situation where underpromotion to a rook is the prudent move. And two queens are trickier than you might think!

rooks i find that rooks are better in the endgame when paired with a queen, not two queens-it's too complicated.
