♡ 81 ( +1 | -1 ) Could you help with analysis, please?I recently played this game against better rated player and I think I had a good attack but it didn't really work out. Something also went wrong before move 10, maybe the 9. Re8... Could you give some comments about this game? You can see that the game got quite open, a bit too open for me to see it all...
Here is the move list, board #248571
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. d4 exd4 5. O-O Bc5 6. Re1 O-O 7. Bg5 d6 8. h3 h6 9. Bf4 Re8 10. Qd3 Ne5 11. Bxe5 dxe5 12. Bxf7+! Kh8 (I didn't see this Bxf7+ beforehand, I decided to trade a Rook to bishop since it granted better attackin prospects and King was safer.) 13. Bxe8 Qxe8 14. c3 Nh5 (on with the attack) 15. cxd4 Nf4 16. Qe3 Bxh3 (!) 17. Nxe5! Nxg2 (!?) 18. Qb3 Bxd4 (should have taken the Rook?) 19. Nf7+ Kh7 20. Ng5+ Kh8 21. Rd1 Ne3 (?!) 22. Nf7+! Kh7 23. Rxd4 (I resigned) 1-0
♡ 37 ( +1 | -1 ) Also22. Nf7+?? doesn't deserve a !, since after 22. Rxd4 white would have simply won easily. Likewise, instead of simply giving up with 22... Kh7??, you could have played 22... Qxf7! with good chances to draw or even possibly win after 23. Qxf7 Nxd1 24. Nc3 Nxf2.
